Due to the internet being able to connect nearly everyone on the planet with one other, there are a few people who want to spread false
information and trick other people. Specifically there are many Russian media trolls without almost all of social media websites. Nearly
everytime something controversial happens, these trolls tend to tweet or post fake news which may seem legitimate. If you tend to use social
media to catch up on the news or recent events, you may be in danger of these people saying things that may make the situation look worse than
it might already be.
In order to protect yourself from these trolls, you should look for many different signs. First of all, they may have a few grammatical errors that professional
news coverage accounts probably will not make, such as replace "a" with "the" in a few sentences. Also, they may use certain events in order to promote Russia
or its president, Putin. All in all, there are some obvious ways to spot a Russian troll, but you should still be careful.
Internet trolls can be found in most social media platforms, which is affecting our society. These trolls are spreading false information about people or events,
which in turn, make certain people genuinely believe that information. This type of information may be harmful for a certain people or group of people, and it might
result in the victim being frowned upon.
