Many companies around the world are working to create a fully functioning self driving car as soon as possible.
Almost all car companies are trying to achieve this goal, but many other "non-car" companies are also joining such as Google and Apple.
Unlike Tesla or BMW, Google and Apple doesn't have as much car manufactoring experience, but if they accomplish creating the first
self driving car, it may revolutionize the whole car industry.
Since self driving cars is new technology, it should be expected that there are many legal and moral problems as it becomes popular.
For example, it would be difficult to decided whether it was the passenger's, company's, or programmer's fault when it comes to an accident
Also, there many driving manueuvers that a machine may not be able to replicate or choose to do at the right time.
Along with a few issues, there are many benefits that come with self driving cars.
For example, it might reduce the amount of deaths from autmobile crashes if created right, and it will make it easier for elderly to travel.
There are many other benefits such as, not requiring a designated driver or a steady flow in traffic if the cars can communicate with one another.
